The King Street Wharf is a waterfront site, situated on the western edge of Sydneys
Central Business District at the southern end of Darling Harbour.
The exceptional site offered an opportunity to connect with the major
tourist precinct, with the city itself and with the International
Passenger terminals. The project was to redevelop Wharves 9 &
10 into a mixed use tourism, commercial, residential and maritime
development.
Under Walker Corporation Limited, the retail and restaurants, stages
of residential and serviced
apartments and commercial/retail strata suites were completed. The
remainder of the development parcels were developed by
Multiplex/Australand in a joint venture.
